The conclusion of the third phase of the building a new church at Segerea
On Saturday 22 October 2007 in our parish of The Holy Spirit at Segerea-Dar es Salaam took place a celebration of the conclusion of the third phase of the building a new church. The celebration began at 6.30am with a procession from Major Seminary at Segerea to our parish where parishioners and guests were welcomed by Card. Policarp Pengo, the honour guest of the celebration. At 8.00am Card. Pengo guided a thanksgiving service whereby took place an auction from things offered by parishioners for the purpose of the building of the church. The celebration was finished about midday crowned by over a dozen million Tanzanian shillings deriving from the auction. Thanks be to God for such big achievement...

Father of all, you sent your Son to carry out your mission of redeeming the world. Let the light of your Gospel of love so shine in the world that it may be transformed into a worthy home for all your children of every race and country. Bless all missionaries throughout the world that their work may bear fruit. Together with them, may we too share in the missionary work of the whole Church that your Kingdom of justice, love and peace may come in all hearts and in all nations.
